Sustainably Made Pellets for Efficient Heating

Packsaddle Pellets produces premium wood heating pellets made from 100% Douglas Fir.

Our Story

Reliable heat for residential and commercial pellet systems across the Pacific Northwest.

Established in 2008, our pellet manufacturing operation was developed to make full responsible use of the wood fiber produced at our Mill City, Oregon sawmill. The Packsaddle name comes from a scenic Frank Lumber property along the North Santiam River and reflects our long-term commitment to sustainable forest management and efficient resource use.

Consistent Quality, Start to Finish

Our quality control begins at the source. All raw material is kept in a dry, controlled environment from the sawmill through pellet production. Materials move directly from bunker to truck to our raw material building and are never exposed to the elements, helping ensure low moisture content and dependable burn performance.

Ongoing Investment in Production

To maintain consistency, efficiency, and reliable supply, we continue to invest in modern equipment and automation. These upgrades allow us to support steady production and dependable order fulfillment for our partners.
